Jan 4-7 Nakiska ski cross/GS camp:

– Return home will be after training on the 7th.

– Hosted by Table Mountain Ski Club and the Alberta North FIS SX (abnorthski.ca). Open to all

 Sask Clubs.

– Available to U14/U16/U19 athletes. SX training will be on the course being used by FIS athletes and the upcoming January SX World Cup race so, for safety, U14 athletes will have

to have had previous SX experience.

– Registration for this camp closes at 12:00 PM this Sunday (24th).

– Group accommodations will be arranged at the Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge in Canmore.

Parents attending will be encouraged to make arrangements to assist in transporting other athletes from your area in Sask and also provide daily transportation to/from Nakiska for their group of athletes. Athlete/parent can choose to make their own accommodations.

– Groups meals for athletes and coaches and 1 or 2 pre assigned chaperones will be coordinated after registration is closed on the 24th. Athletes will be responsible for bringing and preparing a group meal with minimal parent assistance. Athlete/parent can choose to make their own meal arrangements.

– Cost is $50/day track fees + coaching fees + hotel charges. To be coordinated after registration closes on the 24th. Athletes will either be responsible for purchasing their own lift tickets or coordinating with a chaperone for lift tickets to be purchased.
